As some of our patients know, our lovely receptionist, Bri, is pregnant and expecting her baby boy June 2021! During her pregnancy, she experiences breakouts, redness, and fine lines. Before her pregnancy, she treated her breakouts with HydraFacials and topical products, her redness with Broad Band Light (BBL) treatments, and her fine lines with neurotoxins like Botox, Jeuveau or Dysport. However, none of these treatments are approved for pregnant women! So, we searched for a skincare treatment that addresses common skincare concerns while remaining safe for pregnant, breastfeeding and immunocompromised patients.
We’re excited to introduce our newest skincare treatment, IS Clinical’s Fire and Ice Facial, which is designed to safely resurface and rejuvenate the skin with no irritation or downtime.
The treatment begins with double cleansing the skin to remove makeup and impurities and to balance the skin’s PH levels.
Next, the “Intensive Resurfacing Masque” is applied for 3-5 minutes. (This is the “fire” part of the facial.) This mask is formulated with Sugarcane extract, a source of glycolic acid; green tea leaf extract; a natural form of Vitamin A (retinol); and Vitamin B3 (niacinamide.) This formula:
– Provides aggressive exfoliation without residual peeling
– Increases microcirculation and cellular metabolism
– Smooths and polishes skin
– Unclogs congested pores and minimize pore size
– Restores a healthy glow to skin
Once the mask is removed, the skin is cleansed again to balance PH levels. Extractions are performed now that the pores are less congested.
Next, the Rejuvenating Masque is applied. (This is the “ice” part of the facial.) This mask features botanically derived Hyaluronic Acid, Aloe, and extracts from Green Tea Leaf, Licorice Root, Grape Seed, and Rosemary Leaf. This mask:
– Provides powerful hydration
– Cools and refreshes the skin
– Calms inflammation
– Soothes post- procedural erythema (redness)
– Revitalizes aging and compromised skin
Once removed, the skin is finished with a blend of anti-aging products and sunscreen.
