How does the HydraFacial Work?
The HydraFacial MD device uses a vortex swirling action to remove dead skin, dirt, debris, and impurities while cleansing, soothing, and hydrating the skin. Think of it as a carpet cleaner for the skin.
What are the Steps of the Signature HydraFacial Treatment?
- Cleanse the skin with a medical-grade face wash.
- Dermaplane the skin to remove the top dead skin layer and peach fuzz. By removing the top dull skin, dermaplaning brightens and smooths the skin. It also allows the HydraFacial serums to penetrate deeper into the skin.
- Perform the 3-step HydraFacial Treatment:
a. The first step of the HydraFacial is cleaning the pores using the suction from the HydraFacial wand while simultaneously infusing the pores with a blend of beneficial serums.
b. Next, the esthetician applies a light chemical peel that helps to speed up the cell turnover rate to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, even skin tone and texture, and shrink pores. The chemical peel is light enough that it doesn’t cause the skin to peel.
c. Lastly, the skin is infused with hyaluronic acid and a blend of antioxidants and peptides to visually hydrate, brighten and plump the skin. - Finish the skin with an anti-aging moisturizer and SPF.
How can I upgrade my HydraFacial Treatment?
Our favorite holiday facial, The Signature HydraFacial is perfect for cleaning and hydrating the skin. But if you’re wanting to improve fine lines/wrinkles, hyperpigmentation (brown spots,) redness, inflammation, and/or acne, we suggest upgrading to the Deluxe or Platinum HydraFacial.
The Deluxe HydraFacial incorporates upgraded exfoliation, customized booster serums, and LED light therapy. On top of those upgrades, the Platinum HydraFacial includes a jelly mask or ice globes to calm and soothe the skin. The Platinum also includes a hand and arm massage. We can treat the face, neck, chest, and/or back.
