What are the qualifications and experience one should have to administer injectables like Botox, Dysport, lip fillers, and similar cosmetic products?
Here we can show you Dr. Jerome Lamb’s extensive expertise and share the most common ways to use injection products. These involve numerous methods and a substantial track record for actual results.
Dr. Lamb’s Background with Injectables
Many injectors were self-taught when fillers first became popular in the early 2000s. The FDA had strict guidelines on what manufacturers could claim, making the market much more limited than it is today.
Since it was such a new landscape back then, Dr. Lamb developed an anatomical approach to facial injection, while part of the University of Kansas Medical School faculty. This was an essential task because the anatomy for injecting facial muscles with neurotoxins is much different than the anatomy for rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery, facelifts, or other plastic surgeries.
He’s written an entire book on the topic, Facial Volumization: An Anatomic Approach, which has been widely successful and influential among other injectors. It’s also been adopted and recommended by most of the major dermal filler manufacturers.
Otherwise, most training for injectors takes place in regional courses with other trained injectors. Dr. Lamb, on the other hand, has written the book on it.
Before & After Photos – Proof of Results
The best way to demonstrate our qualifications and experience would be to show you what we’ve done for our clients over the years. We have an online gallery that showcases the wonderful results our customers have enjoyed. Most of them are a “before and after” format, allowing you to see just how effective injectable products work (administered by an experienced professional at HealthyLooks).
How do Injectables Enhance Your Appearance?
How do we select the best treatment options for our patients?
We do this by using 3D imaging to map out the entire face from every angle. While you’re probably used to seeing the front or your face in the mirror, we take it a step further to include all the side angles as well. That gives you a much more comprehensive look at how your facial muscles are contracting and contributing to fine lines, wrinkles, and so forth.
As we get older, certain areas of our face will show signs of aging. The purpose of Botox and other injectable toxins, is to trick the eye of the beholder by making us look younger. This works by using those toxins on the common problem zones such as frown lines, crow’s feet, and marionette lines.
Since there are many misconceptions about this, we wrote a separate article addressing several myths about neurotoxins and cosmetics.
Injection Benefits – For Patients of All Ages & Cosmetic Needs
What are some of the common cosmetic solutions we offer through injectable products?
Lip fillers are always popular with our younger clients in Kansas City. They’re usually after more attractive and fuller lips, which you can achieve with certain injectable toxins.
We also serve older individuals who wish to address frown lines and other signs of aging. For them, we focus more on cheek configuration to remedy fine lines. The cheek muscles are essential in determining how the entire face moves and changes appearance over time.
The 3D mapping lets us analyze the entire face for every wrinkle or problem. This even includes eyebrow volume, an often overlooked component, but something we can address by mechanically lifting and filling them to retain youthful eyes. We’re able to inject small amounts of filler into eyebrows with minimal patient discomfort.
You can also use neurotoxin injections to relax the creases in the cheeks or along the nasolabial lines. As you can see, there are almost limitless ways to use this safe cosmetic method for satisfying results.
